Welcome to Freemasonry in Canterbury

and the

Christopher Marlowe Lodge

I'm a title.
I'm a title.
I'm a title.

Freemasonry means different things to each of those who join. For some, it’s about making new friends and acquaintances. For others it’s about being able to help deserving causes     – making a contribution to family and society. But for most, it is an enjoyable hobby.

We meet in the city of Canterbury in Kent on the first Friday of the month between October and April. During the remainder of the year we meet with family and friends for social events.

We also meet informally on Tuesday evenings between September and April for an opportunity to catch up, discuss Masonic matters and prepare for our meetings. These evenings usually extend to a local pub.

During 2020 our Lodge gave £10,000 to the Masonic Charitable Foundation

Covid-19 Appeal

Freemasonry contributes over £33 million a year as one of the UK’s largest charitable givers. Raising funds largely through voluntary donations we support individual members, local communities and global emergencies.

“It’s about the right way to treat our fellow human beings.”
